Jonathan "JR" Ruppel is the Director of Content for Townsquare Media Lansing, including radio stations WITL, WFMK, WMMQ, WJIM-FM, WJIM-AM and WVFN. A native of Flint, Michigan, JR's career in radio spans more than three decades and has taken him to several states over the years including Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Maine. JR now makes his home in Lansing, Michigan. If he's not at a concert or a weekend getaway, somewhere, he's more than likely down an internet rabbit hole learning some interesting bits of Michigan trivia he can't wait to share.
