Big Boy in Lansing has finally opened its doors!

At this time, the location isn't officially on the Big Boy website. But, they did make the announcement of their opening with a Facebook post saying, "Big news, Lansing — Bob's Big Boy is now open at 6525 S Pennsylvania Ave!"
I stopped by for a peek and confirmation, and Big Boy is indeed open! And boy, was it busy—the parking lot was full.
Bob's Big Boy Now Open in Former Lansing Coney Island
News that Bob's Big Boy would take over the former Zeus’ Coney Island spot first came in July 2023. Making the wait for this restaurant to open over two years long.

This location features a drive-thru option as well, which is said to offer certain items that can only be ordered at the drive-thru.
Lansing’s Restaurant Boom in 2025
Lansing, particularly Lansing's south side, has seen some intense restaurant growth this year. On the south side alone, Lansing has seen 7 Brew, Dunkin', Wing-Stop, and La Mulata all open.
