Fazoli’s Just Closed Another Michigan Location

It seems that some national restaurant chains in Michigan have been struggling because another one has location.

Another Fazoli’s Location Has Closed in Michigan

At the end of July, Fazoli's officially closed its final West Michigan location. Sadly, the location on Beckley Road in Battle Creek is no more. The restaurant closed its doors on July 28.

This restaurant closure is the most recent in a wave of closures for the fast-casual Italian eatery. Locations in Walker and Muskegon closed very suddenly in late February earlier this year.

Remaining Michigan Fazoli's Locations

At this time, there are three Fazoli's locations left in all of Michigan: one in Jackson, one in Lansing, and a third inside a gas station in Monroe. WOOD TV8 noted that Fazoli's parent company, FAT Brands," affirmed its commitment to the Jackson and Lansing restaurants". However, FAT Brands filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January. And other Fazoli's locations have closed this year.

Other National Restaurant Chains Are Leaving Michigan

Fazoli's isn't the only national chain to suddenly close locations in Michigan. Back in April this year, Smokey Bones in Lansing very suddenly closed its doors, too. The closure was especially notable because it marked the end of Smokey Bones in Michigan.”

Michigan also lost its very last BD's Mongolian Grill in February of this year. The last location to close its doors was in Canton.
