Lansing Welcomes Liquor Express and Soon 517 Chicken N Fries
Lansing has more business growth to be aware of.
If you've driven through the intersection of Kalamazoo and Pennsylvania Avenues in Lansing, you've noticed that construction was being done at the building on that corner. Now, one of those two businesses is opening!
A New Party Store for Lansing
Welcome, Liquor Express Lansing!
I saw that they were open, the mini wacky waving inflatable tube man outside the front door told me so, so I stopped by to check it out.
Everything is done very nicely inside, from the way everything is configured, down to what's offered.
In true Michigan party store style, there's a little bit of everything... beer, liquor, pop, snacks, convenience items (antacid, car oil, etc.), frozen take-and-make food, and a whole lot more.

What’s Next for Lansing's Food Scene: 517 Chicken N Fries
When I was there, owner Frank Jajou was there too and I learned that he also owns the "coming soon" 517 Chicken N Fries right next door.
This business isn't open just yet, but you know I'm nosey, so I asked when he hopes to have it open. Frank said, ideally, it would be open in 60 days. However, it may not be until after the new year. But, as always, I'll keep you informed on when it's open.
In the meantime, Liquor Express Lansing is having a grand opening celebration on Tuesday, September 30 from 2 - 6 pm with a bounce house and more.
