Lansing has officially closed the door on 2025. But during that time, more than 50 new eateries opened their doors.

On average, more than one new place a week opened somewhere in the greater Lansing area. Whether it was coffee shops, bakeries, fast food, or sit-down restaurants, 2025 was a pretty spectacular year for openings.

As far as 2026 is concerned, we already have plenty of places that plan on setting up shop sometime this year.
